Recently, we embarked on an exciting journey to create an Evergreen ad that showcases the diverse range of products and services we offer in the home and garden space.

I’m thrilled to take you behind the scenes of that creative process!
Our vision
The idea was simple yet ambitious: create a fast-paced, visually striking ad that highlights the variety of products and brands we work with across the home, garden and lifestyle sectors.
We wanted to demonstrate that we’re not just another London agency, but a team that understands and appreciates the breadth of our industry.
The filming process
Over several days, we visited multiple locations, each offering a unique backdrop:
1. Hot Tub Showroom: It was the warmest day of the year, which made for an interesting start.
2. Granite Worktop Showroom: We showcased the elegance of granite worktops, adding a touch of luxury to our ad.
3. Outdoor adventures: From skateboarding down roads to cycling and even venturing into the countryside (where I got stung by a few insects!), we captured the essence of outdoor living.
4. Conservatory roofs: One of our clients generously allowed us to film in their showroom, displaying their impressive range of conservatory products.
5. London landmarks: To emphasise that we’re not a London-centric agency, we paradoxically filmed at iconic locations like Big Ben and atop The Shard, capturing breathtaking views of the city.
6. Client locations: We visited several client sites, including workshops and warehouses, which not only provided great backdrops but also allowed us to strengthen our relationships with them.
The creative process
Our creative director, Darren, had a clear vision for this ad. We aimed to capture numerous short scenes that could be quickly cut together into a 60-second spot. This approach allowed us to showcase a wide array of products and settings in a brief, impactful format.
The filming process was intense but incredibly fun. From trying on high-vis jackets to pretending to enjoy a drink in a showroom, we embraced every opportunity to add variety and interest to our shots.
Post-production
After days of filming and hours of footage, Darren took on the challenging task of editing everything down to just 60 seconds. The result is a fast-paced, energetic ad that truly captures the essence of our home, garden and lifestyle experience.
The final cut
Creating this ad was a truly exhilarating experience that reminded me why I love working in the home, garden and lifestyle space. It gave us the opportunity to visit our clients, explore amazing products, and push our creative boundaries.
We’re incredibly proud of the final result and are delighted to be able to share it with the world.
